This week was pretty good! We got transfer calls and Elder Kim and I will stay together for another one! Should be fun! I'm excited. Our investigator has a baptismal date for December 6th. He is doing pretty well right now. He has been about 1 1/2 months without drinking and this week we offered and gave him a priesthood blessing to quit smoking. He says he has wanted to sooooo bad but ever since we gave him the blessing he hasn't smoked (about 5 days now). Such a big miracle and testimony builder of the power of the priesthood. Hope he can make it for his baptism. We are praying hard for him and working hard with him. Any prayer you can send up would be appreciated.
Also this week we had a missionary tour and game night with the ward. The tour was okay... not as many people came as we would have liked, but a family that goes to our English class came, so that was fun and they seemed really touched and interested in the messages that were shared. This week during my district meeting I focused on the gift of discernment as missionaries and also giving gratitude because Thanksgiving is so close. I cut out the letters of the word "THANKSGIVING" and gave one to each member of the district. Then I had them write 50 things they were thankful for on it and committed them to add one every night until it was completely full. I felt like it went pretty well and am excited for Thanksgiving this week! HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Also good to hear the Broncos are still doing well! The church is true! love you all!
