Hello!

Quote: "Brothers and sisters, stay in the boat, use your life jackets, and hold on with both hands. Avoid distractions! And if any one of you have fallen out of the boat, we will seek you, find you, minister to you, and pull you safely back onto the Old Ship Zion, where God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ are at the helm and will guide us right..." -Elder M. Russell Ballard

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome 2015!!! This week was great! Where to start?!? At the beginning of the week we FINALLY found a decent non-sketchy couch on the street! It was super heavy though and it took four of us to haul that bad boy a good mile at least! Super worth it though! Our house is looking fresh! In other, more important news, we were able to meet with our new investigator twice this week. He is really cool and has had some really unfortunate stuff happen in his life. He has received baptism and sprinkling in other churches so we explained about the Restoration and our Church's authority. He accepted a baptismal date for February 7th. Then I went on exchanges with one of the Elders in my district on New Years Eve. It was pretty fun! We told some fun stories and welcomed in the New Year! The next day we wanted to start out the new year right, so we went to a super nice buffet (called VIPS) that is a little bit ridiculously expensive... but it was totally worth it! I don't think I have really been hungry since then... haha We got there and asked the price and when we heard it we were a little skeptical, but after flipping a coin (which never lies), we were in for the long haul!!! Sick!!! Then later in the week one of the zone leaders in our area became AP so the other zone leader has kind of just been bouncing around in threesomes with different companion ships in our zone. Well while he was off in a different area we called President to see if we could go over and bunk it at the other Elder's house while he was gone. He said yes, so we went over and had a fun evening with them after we planned and did everything we needed to. Then on Saturday we got transfer calls. I will be going to a new area called Sang Gae to be a zone leader. I am a little nervous but pretty excited. My new area is still in Seoul, just a little above my current one. It is the biggest zone in the mission (in terms of people). My new companions name is Elder Killpack. Elder Kim will be going to the countryside on the East coast of Korea (kind of where the 2018 Olympics will be). So our area will be closing, unfortunately, but we will just have to refer our investigators and recent converts and less actives and what not. So yesterday in church I gave my going away testimony in Sacrament meeting, which President Christensen attended. Then after church the sisters had a baptism! SO it was a sweet day! Now I am just packing and getting ready to head out of Gilum! I'll miss it, but I'm excited to change! Also I haven't read about how the Broncos did yet, but regardless, HOORAH! GO BRONCOS! The Church is true!
