Hello!

 

This week's motto: "By small and simple means are great things brought to pass." Alma 37:6

 

So this week was good. It was nice to call home and to be able to talk with everyone! Glad to hear that everyone is doing well! This week was great. While street contacting Elder Kim and I were talking to this guy and he wasn't very interested, and so we were about to end our contact and I got the impression to keep talking to him and invite him to meet again. He declined, but as soon as he walked away there was a guy staring at me that I started talking to. He said he was really interested in learning English and so he came to our English class that night. We are unsure of his gospel interest, but if I wouldn't have continued talking to the first man, I would have never met the second one. It was a good humbling experience of obedience to the fundamentals and to the spirit.

This week one of our two baptismal dates came to church. So he should get baptized on the 24th. His little brother is struggling a little bit, but if we can get him to come to church, he should be baptized soon after! We will continue you to work hard with and pray for them!

Lastly, we found one new investigator this week. He is 92, just like our recent convert and was super funny. He says he owns like 5 apartment buildings so he is pretty rich and says he wants to buy us dinner next week! He took pictures with us and was throwing up peace signs and stuff. Super funny! He is a typical old guy but is really healthy. Anyways, this week was great! The church is true and all is going well!
