- What a great week! It didn't go as fast as last week, but still pretty fast in terms of "real life" time!:) The MTC is awesome! Last Friday I got to attend the temple and see the new video (and again tonight). It was a great video and truly inspired. I LOVE the temple! This week we got 5 new elders and 5 new sisters (Korean speaking of course) into our zone. 2 of them are from Idaho which is nice because I get a lot of flack from being from Idaho! I passed on the Idaho cow to them and they were excited after I told them that I ball boyed for BSU for 9 years. I told them stories about some of the players and about me accidentally hugging Kellen Moore. They seem to be getting used to the MTC alright. We got a fridge in one of the rooms of our district (for one of the Elders "medicine" needs) and so we make sure to always stock it with pop and juice from the cafeteria and salsa and stuff! Fun times! Everyone is jealous that we have it! hahahahaElder Ney and I finally got one of our "investigators" (they are just teachers who act as investigators) to commit to baptism. We teach 2 investigators and it was our goal this week to get both of them to commit to baptism. So far we are 1 for 2 and we have a chance on Saturday to get the other investigator. It was a cool experience. Even thought it wasn't a real investigator, the Spirit was so strong when they said yes and I felt very strongly that it truly is God's will to have ALL his children into his fold. We try to tie every lesson into baptism and so we usually teach and then tie the question of baptism into whatever we taught. This time we were teaching the Plan of Salvation and when it got time for the question I asked, "Will you begin your progress towards an eternal family by being baptized"? The investigators almost always say no so we had planned to then say, "Will you attend a baptism?". However, after asking the first question our investigator said... "hmmmm... Ney (Yes)". I literally sat up straight and said "... Ney?" very puzzled and surprised that they actually said yes! It was just a good testimony builder that God is always preparing his people and even if you are terrible at the language (like me) he can still bless them. I need to always be prepared to allow someone to feel that spirit and not be surprised! The Korean is tough but we are truly trying our best to SYL or Speak Your (our) Language more in our every day speech! It will come through my efforts. I KNOW IT!!! The church is true! I love this gospel! HOORAH! GO BRONCOS!-Elder Hobson
