Quote: "I think God knows something we  don’t- things that are beyond our capacity  to comprehend! Our Father  in Heaven is an eternal being  whose experience, wisdom, and  intelligence are infinitely greater  than ours.4 Not only that,  but He is also eternally loving,  compassionate, and focused  on one blessed goal: to bring  to pass our immortality and  eternal life.5 In other words,  He not only knows what is  best for you; He also anxiously  wants you to choose what is  best for you. If you believe this  in your hearts if you truly believe the great  mission of our Heavenly Father  is to exalt and glorify His children  and that He knows best  how to do it- doesn’t it make sense to embrace  and follow His commandments,  even the ones that appear difficult?  Should we not cherish  the light posts He has given that  guide us through the darkness  and the trials of mortality?  They mark the way back to our  heavenly home!" -President Uchtdorf
Hello! This week was great! In 3 days we had 11 consecutive cancelled, punked, or forgotten appointments. Including a member meal and a less active that we visit at his workplace (who just happened not to be at his store for the first time in a long time! haha). How great is that?!?!?!?!?;) haha Pretty interesting. We were wondering what we might have done wrong, but we both just kept sensing that we were being put through those disappointments for a reason. So it was kind of a bummer that all of that fell through, but we finally got 1 new investigator and a few people to meet with us! We also had an investigator that showed up to church after a week of him "being busy" and minimal contact. So that was a miracle for sure! We were super stoked for that. He has a baptismal date for Feb. 8th. We will see if he can make it. We had a member take us to VIPs (which is a super nice, expensive restaurant/buffet). Let's just say, I am still full and we ate it 3 days ago... haha soooooooo good! We were grateful for that!:) I went on exchanges with the APs this week which was fun. We just got a new office in our mission, so I got to sleep there and enjoy the luxuries of the giant showers, beds, computers, and all the missionary supplies you could ever need or want. It was pretty fun! We had interviews with President this week which was great as usual. I got some good help and guidance from him. Our zone is doing well. We are calling companionships this week to do a mini training over the phone and we might do a few visits to some Elder's houses. I am happy and well! This church is true and I am so glad to be here on a mission. So much joy comes through this church! I know that our Savior Jesus Christ lives and loves us all! the Church is true!
